An amazing and challenging job every second. I was the only hard-rock underground miner operator of my gender during my tenure out of nearly 400 employees. Hecla is an amazing company to work for. I resigned my position after being offered a position as an Outdoor Reality Survival show contestant for the Discovery Network.

I offered such trips as: snorkeling shipwrecks, skijouring, cross-country skiing, winter-camping, hunting small game, hunting big game, wildlife viewing, wild berry picking, wild mushroom picking, wild edible gathering, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, wilderness survival skills, caving, spelunking, hiking, historical tours, open-water swimming in the Great Lakes, kayaking, Eagle viewing, etc. Currently, I take clients to the private owned Hendrie River Water Cave and on certain overnight kayak-camping trips on the Great Lakes and some inland rivers.

I was a certified police officer; responsible for enforcing general criminal laws of Michigan also. I left this amazing job and followed a life long dream of moving to Alaska.

I worked undercover at the Soaring Eagle Casino. I also worked in community policing and as a bicycle patrol officer. I left the Tribal Police to pursue a career as a Michigan State Trooper.
